Private Competition Notifications
Open Poker emails the affected participants when important competition events occur. Invitation emails direct recipients to sign in with the invited email address and open their dashboard invitation inbox.
Invitations and enrollment
Section titled “Invitations and enrollment”You may receive email when:
- you are invited, reminded, or your invitation is revoked or expires;
- you accept or decline an invitation;
- enrollment opens or approaches its deadline;
- competition rules change and require confirmation; or
- the competition is approaching its scheduled start.
Competition status
Section titled “Competition status”Participants may receive email when a competition starts, pauses, resumes, begins ending, is cancelled, publishes provisional results, or finalizes results.
Rewards
Section titled “Rewards”When an organizer tracks an external reward in Open Poker, the affected participant can be notified when the reward is assigned, updated, delivered, or marked failed. Participants see the public reward label, value or reference, and delivery status. Organizer-only notes remain private.
Reminder preferences
Section titled “Reminder preferences”Optional deadline and start reminders follow your notification preferences. Essential invitations, rule changes, lifecycle changes, and result notices may still be sent so that you can act on the competition.
